ABOUT US
Prism Glass was established in 2008 in Wimbledon, London. Fitting glass partitions was initially the primary focus, but this soon expanded to other glass-related construction work, including glass balustrades, mirrors, bespoke shower screens, switchable privacy glass from Smartglass, magnetic glass whiteboards and more. We have always been dedicated to the glass industry.

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) are of utmost importance to us and are at the core of what we do. From the outset, even at candidate interviews, we always highlight the importance of working safely and not taking shortcuts. Site surveys and regular toolbox talks help create awareness of potential dangers and the impact these can have on us and others.
All our operatives are CSCS qualified. We also have glaziers with Asbestos Awareness Training, Manual Handling Training, IPAF, PASMA, Harness Training, Working at Heights training, and supervisors with SSMTS and SSSTS. Read more about HSE.
OUR APPROACH
Our priority is to create a space that suits you and your pocket. No matter how big or small the job, our approach is the same. We first ensure we understand the requirements and specifications. A comprehensive site survey helps gather essential information. We offer expert knowledge and advice as part of the design and concept process.
Once agreed, careful planning is put in place before work commences. Controls are put in place so that works are done safely and efficiently. We also carefully choose the glazing team to ensure our glass fitters have the experience and knowledge to do the job.
Unlike many other suppliers, we directly manage our glass installation team to ensure quality. Dedicated project managers monitor work progress to ensure work is completed on time and to the highest standard, one of the many reasons to choose Prism Glass.
MEET THE TEAM
Hercules Van Heerden
(Managing Director)
Hercules established Prism Glass in 2008. He is the driving force behind the business and ensures quality and standards are met at all times. He has extensive experience and knowledge in the glass partitioning industry, having just about worked with all major glass partitioning systems in the UK.
Aldo Du Plessis
(Operations Director)
Aldo joined Prism Glass in 2009, and in 2012 he was made a director of the business. He is primarily responsible for the day to day operations and fitting teams. Having worked for many years as a fitter, he possesses vast hands-on experience in the industry and site construction management.
Jason Peter
(Installation Manager)
Jason Peter is an experienced glass fitter. He recently joined the office team and is responsible for coordinating works and project management. He is regularly on-site and in communication with installation teams. His extensive glass partitioning installation knowledge helps ensure jobs are done on time and to the expected standards.
Barry Celliers
(Project Co-ordinator)
Barry is the newest team member. He specialises in project management of glass installation works. He is responsible for planning and coordinating glass projects, as well as tracking work progress to ensure milestones are met.
Sergio Cirillo
(Architectural Project Designer)
Sergio is a specialist metalwork and glazing, technical architect. He provides design insight and CAD drawings services to help visualise and plan glazing projects. He has many years of experience working on architectural projects in the UK for public, commercial and residential spaces.
